Q Directions for Students who Are/Were in Class: With your classmates, use the Google document I created for your group to in this Google folder (Links to an external site.) to write an essay together. Each group has a document. Use the document that corresponds to your breakout group number. Breakout group 1, uses document 1, and so on. Remember that control or command Z undoes accidents! You will do most of the work in-class together. Follow the steps on the Google Document. Then, each one of you will write one paragraph. Individually (each person from the group), needs to upload one document that has: your group's outline (copy it from your Google doc: control or command C = copy, control or command P = paste), thesis (copy it from the Google doc), and your paragraph (what you wrote individually). Directions for Students who Missed Class: If you are not in class, you need to make a copy of this template document (Links to an external site.) (download the file or make a copy of it in Google Docs). Then, do the steps in the document yourself (all of it). Then, write one paragraph--just one! Submit your outline (from the template) and your paragraph (all in one document) here. Prompt: What can students to be successful in an online class? Use your experiences, your classmates experiences, and friends and family members experiences for support. You could also reference Miranda or the video on online class success. (Don’t do research or look things up online). Criteria: No title, introduction or conclusion needed. I will look at your group's outline and thesis in the Google doc file. You need body paragraphs with clear topic sentences and loads of details. Limit general talk. Instead, tell personal stories that illustrate your points. Use "I." Don't use "you"! Again, details from your own personal experiences are the best! Do not do research other than Miranda or the video you had to watch on online course success (if you choose to use those).
